Has anyone succesfully used an autometer 5291 hall affect sender as an input for vss signal to the ecm? in my swap its not easy nor do i want to run a reluctor wheel type vss and was wondering if anyone has used the auto meter type senders to tell the ecm how fast the vehichle is going? I know the autometer sender puts out a square wave signal and i believe the factory vss uses a sine wave signal not sure if the two are compatable or what? any and all input is greatly apreciated -thx neil
