how your ment to mount the tank is with a bolt and nut on the back side... almost impossible to get the nut on with the bed on... so i welded the nuts to the frame so you'll actually be able to take the tank out without a head ache.....
it doesnt hang down low at all, as a matter of fact, you'll probley wont even be able to see it once the bed is on..

fuel line ran today, held on with .5" insulated cushined clamps... also finished up installing the trans lines clamps....summit sent the wrong fittings, so i gotta wait till next week to mnt the fuel pressure reg/ filter and plumb it up...
also so i dont leave ya hanging to long on the guages here they are.... i had to get 2 turn signal indicators for ya , also im gonna put the high beam indicator in the tach just below the '40' (to give it that stock feel), and i gotta add a red check engine light.... but heres what i have so far... the black wires are grounds, and will be hooked up to the quick-connect when all the mentioned lights get put in..also these wires are matching color code for the painless wiring diagram..

installed the hidden receiver hitch, gas tank will not even be visable from the rear, so the stock look will be retained..and installed the rear disc brake kit.

killer is finally done with mocking everything up.... got the rear disc brake kit installed , the fuel system was completly mocked-up as well....once it was all together, i started tearing killer down to the frame....will be gone to the sandblasters ....
and here is a sneak peak of this 'coolness'....

this cooler is designed to disapate heat by haveing BOTH internal and external heat dissipating fins also this heat sink design produces high heat transfer with minimal airflow... unlike the traditional radiator mounted ones..... haveing said that it is designed for a non-lockup converter trans cooling needs, so with a lock-up converter, it should work out really well..

I have that same trans cooler on my truck (though a bit shorter) and it keeps it plenty cool. I've got it mounted under the core support, so it gets plenty of airflow.
You can just BARELY see it under the radiator here:

got all the pieces back from the sandblasters,they turned out great, and headed to the powdercoaters ......
