SWEEET car dude! Just think how it'll run with a blown LS which would fit under the stock hood and some drag radials on Marauder wheels. Ultimate sleeper. Everyone would think your a cop though.

even with merauder wheels, no tints, exhaust and fuzzy dice, everyone still thinks you are a cop at first. now, with drag radials on weld draglites, merauder wheels in front, and a little bit of blower sticking out of the hood, nobody thinks youre a cop. amazingly people dont give the car the credit it's due. they think that is some huge(it is huge), heavy boat coming down the road. what they dont know is that with this motor swap and the mods i noted before that it is in fact fast enough to squeeze by 03-04 cobras and similar cars. not to mention the really funny and amazed expressions that you see on the faces of everyone that sees the car

not yet, were a little worried about the stock crown vic's transmission holding up to the almost 500ft/lbs. that the motor should be making. the stock transmission is only rated to hold in the area of 450ft/lbs. and around the same amount of hp. needless to say we are right at its power limit. as soon as we take it though, ill let you know.

would be cool to go t56, but he is really set on the bench seat and column shift thing. i agree with him, the column shifted bad *** bench seat car thing is really appealing to me too. kinda like how my chevelle used to be. 540ci, th400, bench seat, column shifter, everyday street car. the t56 is for his '80 camaro

Has anyone seen a decent LSx swap into one of these yet? I'd like to make a poor-man's Marauder that will kick the ^$#@ out of most of them, and run with other quicker cars. I have this '03 that currently runs and drives great with 140k on it. Not a bad starting place, with a 3.27 locker rear stock. I have $1600 in it, because I had to put 4 new tires on it. I'd like to do a (relatively) cheap 6.0 swap. I'd keep the cop look as is, but it wouldn't sound stock. Somebody please talk me out of this.

I'm installing a 4.8 into a 76 Ford F-100 truck, not a crown victoria, but has the front suspension form a 2003 Crown Victoria, so is close enough. I'm planning on start the installation this week, do not know how long is going to take me, hopefully not long. It has the FE390 engine with a C6 tranny, the reason for the swap is that I dont like the tranny without overdrive and in order to adapt a overdrive tranny into a FE engine it will cost me alot more, plus with the engine I get fuel economy and I think it will go faster

I'm closing on my new (to me) house next week, and figure I'll break the neighbors in right. I'm going to start gathering parts and get this going. I may go with a cammed 5.3 to save some cash. What's the worst that could happen?
