that would be cool but thats a Thunderbird SC not a Coug...

as for the OP's thought... I have an '03 CVPI with a blown transmission and only 80k miles, I also have a 5.3L shortblock and misc gofast LS1 parts...

I just may need to introduce my interceptor to some LS parts...

Woot, up and running!

Off to the exhaust shop, followed by some much appreciated seat time, aka tuning!

I've yet to dyno it, but i'm guesstimating ~420 RWHP in it's current setup. I'm running an avg. of 5 psi, with a peak of 7 psi at the top of 1st and 2nd gear. I'm only running 35lb injectors at the moment, and have no wideband installed so it's tuned very rich. The only reason I even raced it was because this was the last race of the year before the track closes till March.

By then, I plan on running 15 psi and have all the necessary gauges and supporting hardware installed.

Here's a video:

Still a slug, but not too bad for such low boost and rich AFR, in a granny car! lol.

The turbo is an On3Performance 76MM Journal bearing. For a cheap turbo it seems to work good, however I plan on swapping out to a better one end of next year if this one makes it that long. It's a little small on the exhaust side for this combo.
