I have the autokraft. Good piece. It clears the unisteer r&p by about 1.5" and clears the frame rail in a first gen f body. If you plan on doing any corner carving it's a must over the moroso as it has trap doors for cornering instead of motorized bowling.

I made my own but they are basically ATS style. They are roughly 12 mm thick. I had to use the spacer plates that come with the Energy suspension mounts though. The lower bolt on the alternator was hitting the frame so I had to bite the bullet and raise the engine by that much and it all fit. Didn't want to mess with channeling the frame for such a small interference.

But....I know the pan wasnt that expensive....but it really looks not expensive.
Sorry but the welding is terrible, although I assume it does seal. But really...some of the welds are horrible !!! I dont even weld that bad.
Given the nature of my usage, Im also a little concerned now over strength, given the stock oilpan is supposed to be a structural member of the block assembly too.
The Autokraft doesnt tie in with the bellhousing bolts either.
Is anyone with a fast car using such a pan ?
