we havent started working on the power steering yet. ive delt with the system previously though and it seems pretty easy to "fool". im getting there and will let you know when i have some answers.
- the abs didnt have anything to do with pushing the engine back. so yes i could have moved it back without touching the abs

dont know if it is too late or not, but as to the power steering,
racks out of an FD Chassis mazda rx7 (whatever the last generation was, 94ish) fit into an s2k with very little (maybe even no) modification.
those damn gay *** drift cars that RS*R, and a couple the japanese teams feild in japan (who'd a thought it) are running FD racks. might wanna look into that. or might not, whatever happens to be your cup of tea.
