Just found this forum and was amazed at all the LS1/6 conversions out there. This is the best source of information on this subject that I have seen.

We completed an LS6 conversion in a 62 Vette, about a year and a half ago, along with a six-speed, Dana 44, 95 Vette suspension, etc. and are having a great time driving to cruise nights and shows.

There are pictures of this car and some others on our web site shown in the signature. I'd be glad to share our experience and try to help anyone having questions on the project. As I run into questions it looks like this would be the place to get the answers. Thanks.

Hi Rich,
Welcome to the best LS1 technical site on the net. There is so much info here it's amazing. Lots of projects being done by hands on people. Enjoy.
Nick

Everyone, I have been communicating with Rich for a couple years now on the corvetteforum. He has an incredible 62 Vette that has won MAJOR awards at the Detroit Autorama and other significant events. While at Carlisle he returned to find Dave Hill (Corvette Chief Engineer) laying under his car to get a better look and then rounding up his engineers to look at the car. You really need to check out his website.

Nick,

Thanks for the welcome. I found this site from a post you made in another forum, in response to a question from the fellow wanting to install an LS1 into his 64 Vette. I hope he took your advice and came here for more information.

I understand that your car did quite well at the Chevy/VetteFest in Chicago. The car came out great and the color really looks super on that car. Congratulations.

Welcome to the site Rich, I'm one of the owners here and I'm also doing an LS6 swap project. We definitely get a little involved here

Tony,

Thanks for the welcome.

I looked at your Camaro project site and that will be one amazing car. I'm sure everyone will be looking forward to the construction pictures as this moves forward.

Thanks again,

John, thanks for the welcome.

Carey, I didn't recognize your forum name at first. I hope the project is coming along well and that you are enjoying it.
