How do you like the car with the LS1 in it? As far as a drift set up?
Ha the 1J VS the LS1 argument, there is one on every forum I am on. You cant even compair the two, its lame.
I will say that my last car was a MKIII with a 1JZ with BPU mods, stock twins and made good power. With a single upgrade, fuel and some engine management, you could make some great power.
I would of went 1J in my S chassis (almost did) but I have came to hate turbo lag and want the V8 power band. Even though the 1J with stock twins has alomost a V8 feel/power band.

i didnt put a 1jz in my car because as far as im considered and what i LIKE the 1jz is a 700lb iron block non v8. i want a hot rod. but just because you dont like anything non-v8 doesnt mean it is actually utter ****, like most of the cars the ls1 came in that are legal for F stock classes in solo2.
i think it handles fine, but i drifted an el camino so im probably not the best person to ask. its wieght is similar to a ka though, and less than a ka-t setup.
v8 also is less **** to break
ls1 parts are at every auto parts store, 1jz not so much. still a cool motor though, just not for my application.

Yes 1 3/4.
No update pics yet, because my cammera bit the dust. We just got the front tubed, all wired up (then took the wiring out),preped and then its off to paint, for some flat black action. We make our own suspension arms/links and solid subframe bushings etc. (KASU Racing), I just got all my arms back from the machine shop and installed, RUCAs,modded stock LCAs,toe, traction, tension rods etc...They will be for sale at www.ma-motorsports.com soon. The solid subframe bushings can be found there now. The arms will be there soon as we get more made. Solid subframe bushings http://www.mamsparts.com/product_inf...ducts_id=37804
Here are some pics of our arms and some other jazz.
The shop for fun.
Hockey fight!
Updates in a couple weeks, we are very busy trying to get everybodys cars done for the season. Soooo mine got put on hold, boooo!!

It runs!! Can somebody tell me what that whine noise might be? I think it might be the power steering pump, becasue I ran it for a few seconds dry. Its a new engine so I dont want to run it to much, till I get it driveable and can break it in. Also that noise kinda scares me, im thinking it is something inside the engine??
