Default Diagnostic plug??
I sent my 2002 Trans Am harness out to wait4meperformance to be re-worked for my 69 Camaro..

I now need a diagnostic plug for it.. Anyone got one or know where I can get one??

You need an OBD-II, which is any Gm vehicle from 1996, on up. I belive. Go to a junk yard and have them cut it out with about 6" of wire on it. Should do you fine.

BTW, I sent my harness to them too. turned out real good. I'm figuring out the wiring right now.

Many people don't include it because on the stock F-body harness the OBD2 plug is part of the dash harness not the engine harness.

Sounds like all the more reason to include it. How many people get the complete interior wiring from the car when they buy an engine?

yeah That yard i went to has a policy on cutting wires. any wire they cut automatically costs $25. I'm never going back. They have a monopoly though. They are the only yard within 50 miles that has '96 and up cars.
