Cool, I hope the pan comes out good. It could save all of us some headache.
You're inching more and more up this way. Soon you'll be at all of our events and hopefully Matt finishes his. I think he's been a little busy and hasn't touched it in a while and he missed the entire '07 season.

I don't think I'll hit 450, maybe 435ish max but I like setting higher goals even if they are slightly out of reach.
Seems like a lot of people are making about 415 with some bolt ons. One guy said he made 440. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ght=si5&page=2
This is probably 1 of 6 cams that I'll go through, it all depends on how I like it. I have been eye balling the dynos that Vengeance has been putting out there and they are looking good.

If I break 400, which I should, I'll do my happy dance but I know that the engine should be able to do more.
I'm expecting my dyno chart to look similiar to this with and hopefully with a little more peak numbers.

The engine was just started this week but needs a serious tune. Maybe next week I'll toss up a vid and a dyno chart.

Custom. I don't think there are any available yet, other than Hinsons.

Just curious yeah hinson is the only mount kit you can buy...i dont think xat racing sells a diy kit. Can you post more pics of the mounts if you have any and what was use (i.e corvette mount etc...) Thanx.

It's solid mounts right now. Just some plates and roll bar piping.

Numbers are in! MUHUAHAHAHA!!!!11!

I took it to Summit Point Raceway today and made a few laps with it. All I have to say is "WOW!" Instant response and power. My first run was so ugly that I was a little embaressed. This is when I learned 1st and 2nd gear are useless lol.

My second run had a PS line problem then my third I was mainly using 3rd and 4th gear where I normally 2nd and 3rd. I could have went to 5th if I wanted to push it. I then started having more PS problems so I called it a day.

I think I'm going to change my final gear to use the power more efficiently as I was just wrapping right through the gears.

With the few runs I had I know next season is going to rock.

its just a solid engine mount, not like he welded his shocks and replaced all his bushings with spherical bearings, lol.

gary, accusump. i'm taking it upon myself to spread the word.

if your drifting, and actually keeping your foot in it like a big kid, you need something to keep oil in the pan.

Seems good, I think I'll get it. Are you running it?

I just recieved word that the first prototype of the oil pan is done. It lowers my current engine by one inch, has better baffling, has more oil capacity, crossmember doesn't have to be notched, allows easy installation of oil cooler, no modifications of the sway bar needed, very minimal to no modifications to the tunnel (AKA beating the hell out of it), and should fit other applications (350z. More to be added later after verified.)

They are currently redoing my mounts so it'll have bushings and take advantage of the new pan height allowance.

Once I get more specs I post them up. I should have pics too. The tentative plan is to have my car completely finished for the first Nopi event on March 15/16 in AZ but it's going to be tough. I still have new paint, fuel cell, electrical changes, guages, and some misc fabrication left. Hopefully I'll get it painted before the Nopi event.
