Default The Offical Demonic Obsidian Build!

Ok So i have started an Offical Thread dedicated to my chevelle. I didn't like my last thread so I am starting over. With some same pics and new pics that you have never seen before. Very good stuff here. Stay tuned as I progress on my project. Turning her in to a Mean Pro-Touring G-machine.


Ok Now for some history. This car was bought in 1964 by my father. For reason the car sat at the coast with 40,000 miles on the clock. About 10 years ago it was given to me with many ideas in mind I spent most of my time figuring out what I wanted to do. Then I did it. The car was origionaly Tuxedo black with an light blue interior. munci 4 speed 3.08 posi 12 bolt and a 300 horse 327 4 barrel.


The modifications
Frame was boxed and strengthend
Mini Tubbed 2" inboard per side
Frame was then powdercoated
Rear end was shortened 2" per side
Then Powdercoated

great documentation and pics . i have a few ques. did tou make the bracket for the 't' fitting over the rear? and the brackets where the hard line changes over to flex on the rear, where did you get them and how did you attatch them? your lokar em. brake cables ,where do you plan on joining them to the front cable? thanks,JOHN

here is a closer pic that will explain things I got the braided line and T connector ant Inline tube. The brake cable will hook up like the origional setup

nice build!! my pops has a 65 wagon which i hope to aquire one day(for some stupid reason he's been talking about selling recently) so id love to do a LSx swap in it (it currently has a GMPP 350, 700r4 and a 12bolt moser)...

Well first of all it was my fathers. It sat at the coast for 30 years so it was rusted pretty bad bodywise. there was no rear window so that made it worse. The motor was pulled out in 67 and put into a motor home so thats why it sat.

Got my spindles today From ATS I am very happy with the quality of work and the fast and easy business this car is never going to fall apart and beable to take a lot of beating. here are pics of them roughly in Thanks tyler for the good products. i am very happy I switched from my b-body to this system
