The headers for the 64 - 67 A-body should be in the warehouse this week or next.

It was a really cool 73, but the owner wussied out and put a traditional SBC in it. This car was so cool it came to the shop with a beach in the trunk.

You wouldn't happen to have the part # for the headers only?

Default Lemans?

Would a 66 Pontiac Lemans be considered a GM A body?

Edelexh, do you think the 65073 headers could fit a 78-88 Gbody? I've been looking at these and they look like they're based of the late model fbody headers. Late model fbody headers were really close on my car but the #4 tube hit on the frame. These look like they're a better solution, plus their a stepped design. Look at the sig and tell me what you think, or if you can provide some more pix of the headers. Sorry if I'm deviating from the main subject but I know that there are alot of gbody owners that want a clean header solution to their swap.

besides the edelbrock head pipes, is there any other way to connect these headers to my 3" exhaust? does anybody make just a connector that i can weld to, without 2 feet of pipe attached to it. my exhaust is polished 304ss, so i need something close.

btw. check out the gp for these headers on this site.

I just purchased the header down pipes by themselves, they are 2.5 inch pipes and were $95 for the pair from Summit.

Wish I could have gotten in on the group buy would have saved me the cost of the downpipes.

I also had 3" exhaust behind my big block but decided to go to 2.5 pipe. This is a street car not a drag car and I do want it somewhat quiet.

I am also not sure if the donut is the same style as the GM ones that have been around in years past.

Where is the GP purchase? I have looked three time and not found it. I must be going blind.
