On a different note, do you like American Muscle cars? If not that is fine, but why degrade someone's engineering that we, and you, only have pictures of? Do you have proof it is junk? I don't have proof it runs, makes xxx power or anything. I think it is a great idea. And bravo to the owner for making it work. Even if only to a certain extent.

Just as a reminder, this forum allows you to ignore specific users. I have outlined the process below:

Step one: Click the users name and select "View Public Profile"

Step two: Click the link titled "Add QSPres to Your Ignore List"

Step three: Click the button that says "Save List"

QSPres, you have nothing constructive to say; reading what you say is a waste of mine and everyone else's time. Goodbye.

1CAMWNDR, Those V12's are SICK!

Some guys, like QSPres, are just like the village idiot. Take him down to the town square and lock him into a Finger Pillory until he sees the light. I'd like to see if he has ever done anything that is of interest to this forum .. like swapping an engine .. or, like the V12 guy, MADE his own engine. However, it is amusing to follow his know-it-all rants. See our swap at:

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=699289

Nothing like the challenge of an across-platforms swap (other than building your own engine)

Yea, but you know what an all aluminum v12, that just sounds awsome.. your little crappy ls1 couldnt make 5 pages of post about how great and powerful your "ununique" little car mtr is. id like to know about what standalone or whatever will fire 12 ls1 coils i think the aem will, but wouldnt know how to piggy back the harness' together to make it all work right.. that **** took some thinking and tuning and my god it would be a mess. The right tuning guy got into that computer and im betting 750+ na hp is achievable with 12 seperate o2's lmao And is far as the worse millage goes it could be flexfuel you dunno lmfao maybe not

I wonder what the external dimensions of an LS1-based V12 would be. Nah, nevermind, it won't fit in my Fiero. But - would be one hell of a tube-frame chassis project. Combine that with one of the up-coming Porsche 7-speed DSG's on a mid-engine tube-frame kit-car... Could be fun.

I personally like it a lot because of the possibility for it to handle so much nitrous per cylinder with a direct port. I think it could take a 450 shot no problem, assuming it was all forged parts.

I like how QSPres talks all philosophical about truth and pretends like he's know-it-all about the history of every domestic company. What even more funny is that he's talking trash about this V12 LS1, when it's much more impressive than his "large paper weight" block. But, I guess that's typical jealousy...

Nice try, but its juvenile....

Everything that I have said has been accurate. If you don't think that "conversation" I typed wasn't really, really close to what happened when GM DID say that to Lotus, you're either too young to know how the world works, or just simply nieve.....

Pot calling the kettle black? Your doing the same thing

I dont think hes to young, you are just to damn old and getting to be ignorant maybe?

Arent you suppose to get wiser and smart when you get old? Or maybe you stay in your shell and dont think about new things anymore

Even if the V12 isnt the ideal design that guy got it to work and its running

Do you really think anyone can do that? Thats impressive right there, im not claiming to know everything

Because I dont, and not even a ASE tech for 1000million years of working knows everything

A 1955 Nomad or 1967 Impala station wagon with that LS12 would make for one hell of a family ride . It might actually FIT in those cars too .
