Yes Randy, I'm going to start an appropriate new thread next week to start releasing the 1st-gen parts info and photos. As this is an oil pan thread, it would be to obscure to post such info.

I had a lot of struggles with the Mast pan I just got. The pickup tube contacted the pan in the front, side, and in the sump.
I had to heat and massage the tube as well as grind clearance in the pan.
Fits fine now, but was far from a bolt on.

I hope mine was an anomaly, I didn't speak to mast about the issues.
My car is a 69 nova. I set it on the big block frame stands, used the big block rubber mounts and the hooker mount plates that leave the trans in the stock location.

1/2 " from the pan to the Xmember and the steering isn't close to anything. But then it's s nova and the linkage is behind the crossmember

The timing of your follow-up is really good bczee as I just read on our internal on-the-shelf report this morning that 26 units are showing to be in stock. I'm glad to report that the pan is released and now available for purchase (as long as you're one of the lucky ones to claim one of the initial 26 in stock now anyway). You can call Summit or Jeg's or any Holley dealer and request the ability to be able to purchase this part, or visit the Holley website to find it available to you.

Called Summit and asked for the pan.. they said it was $349.99 and would have to be ordered from Holley and shipped directly to me from Holley.. I guess Jegs and the rest would be doing the same on a order for the 302-2 pan..

Its like early Christmas for me today. Came home and the new Holley pan was waiting for me!! I'm guessing it will take an LS2 dipstick and tube? Unfortunately I have a new Lokar Ls1 dipstick that I ordered from Jegs a few months ago.

Yes! I currently have it bolted to a foam ls1 block to test fit. It fits perfectly, clears everything no issues at all. I took some pictures and will post up later.
Waiting to have my cam installed then the real motor will go in.

Default LH8 goes bad!!! Don't use with BRP and lowered front end

Ok, I will share a tough one from last night! Don't use a LH8 pan on a First Gen Camaro with BRP engine mounts and a lowered front spring or spindle or your will look like this!!!

Sorry to just jump in a thread but I'm trying to figure out what parts I will need with the new Holley pan, what engine mounts are you using ls1silverado98? I'm putting an lm7 into my 68 firebird. I've already wasted $$ on parts that won't work, my fault though didn't so my homework.

I'm running TransDapt swap plates, Hooker Oil Pan, and Hooker Long tubes that came with the car when i bought it. (Not sure if the headers are made for 1st gen swaps) They touch the gear box, so I will need to figure somthing out there.

If I didn't have most of the parts, I would have bought all the swap parts from Hooker.

Engine block is sitting about 2 inches off the firewall.

Jegs called Holley and they said they didn't know when they would be back in stock. Clocks ticking

We are expecting to receive the next shipment of raw castings from the foundry within a couple weeks, which will allow us to then perform the machining steps here in our Bowling Green, KY facility. The first production run was rather small and the demand was higher than expected. Future back-orders will become less likely as developed sales history will help to dictate run sizes.

To LS1silverado98:
Can you bolt headers to that foam block? (is it strong enough to hold them)
