The reason I ask is because after measuring my 75 Dart clearance, a mid sump is definitely required to pull it off without hacking the stock k-member to death. The closest thing I've found to work would be the sikky mid sump style 1. But I can buy the jegs pans for $150 shipped cut/flip/reweld the sump from rear to center and modify the stock truck pickup tube and have a center sump pan for about $400-$500 cheaper than that, which makes running the remote oil filter setup an easier pill to swallow.
Idea behind the modification.

I'd like to change what I have for a few reasons. This seems an almost perfect fit, seems to hold a decent quantity of oil, the -12 fittings are ideal for what I need etc etc. And it has a lower profile front end compared to anything else...again, this is ideal as clearance is very tight here for my steering rack and I'd probably need to modify anything else.
But what the **** makes it so expensive compared to other oil pans ? Internally it just looks like a cheap *** square box with trapdoors which is same as most of them use and what I currently have ( modified Autokraft, cut/welded for the aforementioned steering clearance reason and also adapted for remote filter )
