yes, I have a sheetmetal oilpan that allows clearance with the front diff.

Well, not in my application. I am having a custom input shaft done for my transfer case to allow a bolt-up option for a 4L80E, and I've already had my custom tranny mount made, so sliding it back would be more of a pain than a benefit.

The wide turbo isn't that big of a deal, it just means more work.

Who is making the input shaft? It sounds like a very stout combo at this point are you worried at anypoint about the front and rear diff's or T case not being able to hold up to those power levels?

Just a heads up. Mounting the regulator on the firewall is against NHRA rules if you care. Needs to be 6" forward for safety purposes in case of flywheel, clutch or other explosion.

Nice looking truck.

Thanks. He had a bracket that mounts the regulator on the pass side of the carb, but it wouldnt work because of where that ignition box sits. I guess maybe we could have mounted the box on the firewall and done it that way, but it can be redone if need be.

The good thing is, the local tracks around here dont usually tech at all so he should be ok for now

A fellow SyTy board member George Blake has an outfit machining them out of 9310. He's only having a run of 15 made initially, which I got in on the buy for.

The diff's will probably need to be changed out at some point. I'm not shooting for huge HP right now, but more focusing on getting all the best parts I can into the truck during this build.

Oh and the transfer case has been able to hold down into the 8's, so I'm not worried about that one.

We're both actually from Pleasant Grove. It isnt on the road yet but it may be able to be fired up this weekend. If so, we'll try to get some pics and a vid of it.

Oh by the way, do you need anything else from an LS1?? Im parting mine out and want to sell some stuff. I have an intake for $350 shipped if you want it. Its a BBK 85mm manifold, and I will even throw in the MAF too.

Ditto...I used to have a friend with a AWD Typhoon with a heads/cam LS1 in it. I was almost afraid to ride in it. It was STUPID FAST.

Well it is finally alive. Still has a few small things to go before it is 100% though. It should be back at my house this weekend, so we will try to get some more pics and maybe a vid of it.
