Yes that is a option, but the location is the same as stock so using stock brackets would be much cheaper not to mention it does not fix the steering box clearance problem.

The fine print says this:
Note: this kit is designed to be used with an electric water pump and no power steering or air conditioning.

Nah nothing much. Fuel pump is mounted and I think he ordered all the line and fittings so we can start on that soon. Maybe in couple more months or less and we can fire it up.

The alternator is already flush with the head in this application I can't move it back any further..... Are you sure you could not make the f-body unit work?

Here's a pic of a fellow SyTy owner with a turbo LSx motor, and you can see his turbo is pretty far out in the fender:
I dunno, I may fab up a bracket on my own. I have access to a laser cutter and he would only charge me the time and materials, which would come out to be like $50 total for the bracket. I just need to figure out if anyone else offers an alternative before I put in the time mapping it out in CAD
It's hard doing this when few others have before.
