Right now the car has a Hoosier 27x10.5 4.56 and th400 with about a 4500 verter. I plan on buying at least a 28x11.5 or a 275/60 DR. And maybe a different gear lol. But I have a bigger cam and I plan to spin the motor around 7K to 7500 rpms.

I forgot you will be able to spin it higher safely, but there's no reason for me to spin it that high, with it being a mild set up, the car doesn't really keep making power past 6500..But I'd still bet you will probably run out of gear...

I think your right. I will run it first and then determine what size gear. I think a 4.10 should be just about perfect.

I would like to find a gear that will work awesome with a 28" tire on the spray and pretty good with a 26" tire for motor only.

My old nova had 4.10s and crosed the line at about 6900 at 130mph. With a 28x9 mt measures 27tall.

f-body pan fits best and has the most ground clearance, a truck pan will work but hangs low.

Do you have any other close up pics of the headers and K member? I just ordered a set of kooks 1 7/8" for my car but I'm uncertain if they will fit. I have a PA K member with ls1 plates and had a guy re weld it up. So there is no guarantee if they will fit but I will make them work.

10.50's on a mild set up like that is awesome. I can't wait to see what happens with the sauce...

What size slick did you buy? I have a 27" right now with a 4.56 and th400. I'm really worried that will not make it to the 1320'. But I'm waiting for a guy who is going to wire the car and possibly mini tub it. Then I could go with a 29" or 30".
If you are not going to spray it, you will be fine. I shifted mine at 6700 with 456 gears and a 26/10 slick and went out the back door at 6800
My new engine, I am going to shift at 7500 with 488 gears with a 27/10.5 Hoosier QTP. I might even put a 513 in it. We shall see. It is going to be all motor with a Jerico, so I can put a different 1st gear in it, if it doesn't make it.

Well it was nice today so I decided to take the car for a drive today. Drove out to my brother's and put it on the lift and took some pics in his shop...

Also took a few shots of it on the lift and the exhaust and such..Here's the link to them...

Looks pretty good. I like the wheels on it. The bottom of the car could used a clean up and some paint lol. Must be nice to be out driveing your hot rod around. It is pretty cold here and a bit of snow still around. Main roads are clear but side streets are slick.
Your brother hooked his shop up. He finished it out nicely. I like the tile floor look.

Thanks..Yeah it could use some clean up, but no one really ever sees it. That's the first time its been on the lift. I did the whole swap in my garage on the floor.

I love the wheels, they're dead sexy. Plus now I have no reason to convert to 5 lug.

Yeah its been pretty mild around here this year. We've had some cold weather but not really any ice/snow.

I agree his shop turned out awsome, I don't think he's used it to it potential yet but hopefully he will soon.
