Very please with the times on the motor for being a stock ported heads and baby cam car..I think it still has a little left in it..But was running out of gear at about 1000-1200ft. Still haven't sprayed it yet. But it will for sure see some deep 9's..

if theres no video it didnt happen...

Well made another trip out to the track today. Picked up a new best on the motor of a 10.53@ 125..Carrying the wheels again. No video still but do have some pictures off the line, my buddy took. I will post them up when he emails them to me...Had planned on spraying it a little but while I was changing my plugs a fellow racer wrecked his nova flipping it over..So I didn't end up getting to run again. Bad deal but he walked away from it okay..

sweet setup and great running car !!!

Did you use the stock truck oil pan in the swap? if so do you know if that pan will fit with out changing the K-member just using factory fox k-member?

My buddy wants to do a similar swap in his 91 GT

Thanks..No I switched to a car oil pan. Although the truck pan does fit. But you just have less clearance with the truck pan. I'm not for certain about pan clearances using the stock k member. The aje isn't really all that expensive, so it makes it hard for me to justify using a factory k-member.

Max timing is at 29*, but its not a flat 29*, it starts out lower, I have made my own custom timing curve..All of the curve chips that come with the box have a max timing of 36* which is too much for a LSx.

Well here's a couple pics from last sunday..Both of these were taken before it got all the way up, but as you can tell it was hooking pretty decent..Best 60' of the day was a 1.43 worst was a 1.49 I believe..

Ready to spray it and see if it puts it on the bumper..

Haha..yeah my friends say its carrying it for 60-70ft but it sure doesn't seem that far. Yeah it'd be cool to put it on the bumper but at the same time worried about coming down and smashing the pan and or headers...

Next thing, I know the 4L60's fit, But haven't really been able to find any info about people using the 4L80? Will it fit?

I have a few other questions but am in process of searching for them..

Man the car car is working well...Nice job!

Do you have any other close up pics of the headers and K member? I just ordered a set of kooks 1 7/8" for my car but I'm uncertain if they will fit. I have a PA K member with ls1 plates and had a guy re weld it up. So there is no guarantee if they will fit but I will make them work.

10.50's on a mild set up like that is awesome. I can't wait to see what happens with the sauce...

What size slick did you buy? I have a 27" right now with a 4.56 and th400. I'm really worried that will not make it to the 1320'. But I'm waiting for a guy who is going to wire the car and possibly mini tub it. Then I could go with a 29" or 30".

I think I might have some pictures at home, but not here at work. I had ran into a few clearance issues myself, I too had the 1 7/8 and even with the AJE k-member, and to be honest wasn't too happy with Kooks help to find a solution. I can thank lt4malibu for the idea and reminding me about being able to move the steering column. Either way I got it lined out.

Your right though, for what this car is, I'm impressed with it. Just ready to see what happens on the bottle..

My car has some 2yr old 28x10.5 ET Drags on it. What converter do you have? I'm going to tell you, with my TH400, 4000 Yank, and 4.10's on a 28" tire, am running out of gear around the 1000-1200ft mark on the motor, so I would think your will run out much sooner..I think a mini tub will be in the near future maybe...

I'm in the need of a gear change myself, 3.73 probably. I won't be able to get a full 1/4 pass on the bottle or hell the motor too til I make a change..
