Sorry no pic's or video unless someone else got me running. My camera went on the blink. All I can say is WOW. You guys warned me it is very addicting. I go to my first ever autocross climb in a pro-touring 66 ride tech chevelle with a pro driver Bret at the wheel and he had me pend to my seat and holding on around the entire course. Scares the living Sh.. out of me. The pros like him were running mid to flat 40 second runs. I drove my cutlass thru the lights at 48 seconds the first and only run I made. My car handled unreal. I drove it thru the course with out using a brake very smooth. I can't wait to do it again. I was a little shy about pushing it to hard sense I had zero time under my belt in this car or on a autocross course and it was fairly close to the fence. A chevelle hit the fence on friday I understand.

hard to make someone jealous of a 60 mile commute in the morning early enough for it to be dark out; great job

Forget the radio Rocky, I prefer the sound of the open throttle toward the end of the video!
Actually it's nice to see the car is quiet, solid and complete with tunes cool custom gauges and all - especially when friends ride. There is nothing worse than taking the woman for a ride and trying to explain rattles and vibrations.

Great job!

Next will be clean up, paint and then installing the new 4 wheel disc brake kit.

I purchased the airfilter housings at http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...12ca5d277b0843

The headlight bezels came from ram air box.

Spectra performance has some real nice aluminum filter housings I saw them at Goodguys last year. But they are about 10 inches long designed for 4 inch hose. http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.9832
I cannot fit them in my setup I did manage 2 filters one fed to each head light. Good luck.

"fuel system completed"

VERY freaking sweet work rocky, love the design and execution, clean clean clean!

As I am about to embark on a LS conversion, wanted to verify what you did for fuel? I am going with an early LS1 (98) and wondering what you used for fuel filter\regulator\pump, etc? I am going to modify my stock tank welding in a Moroso sump. Thanks! Gui

Thanks. I used the welbro 255 inline with vet filter regulator using my stock oem tank. Return goes thru the oem Big Block sending unit which has a 1/4 inch return line built in. The welbro pump has a 15/16 return but the ID of the oem 1/4 return in the sending was as big as the ID in dorman 5/16 quick fittings that mate to the filter regulator. I have about 16k trouble free miles sense the swap. Good luck.

I guess your right my dad never flew a rocket like this one. It handled the recent GG Lonestar Nationals autocross event well enough to get noticed by a PHR staff member. They are doing a photo shoot of the car this weekend. Wish me luck if I get any mag coverage I will post it here. I'd like to thank all of you LSI tech junkies again for the help in making this happen.

It was actially a reference to a late 80s ad campagn when they tried to revamp oldsmobile.

I really liked your build on the 65 cutlass.
I too have a 65 F85, do you sell those dash panels?
I really liked that dash and want one just like it in mine.
Thanks
Jarhead
