I've been doing much research since my last reply. Now I'm leaning back toward the ls. fparts has a complete with tranny ls1 with 54k miles shipped to my door for 3300.00, wiring harness, computer, etc. I know I'll have to change the accessories and my headers won't work. Any opinions on fparts, has anyone purchased from them on ebay. They have almost a perfect rating with over 500 ls,lt1,l98 sales over 3 years. Chime in if you have an opinion.
