Has anyone done a LSx 80's El Camino? My dad is obsessed with beating my SS and is contimplating throwing in a LS2/LQ9 with a 4L80E. Has anyone done this type of swap yet? He will be going H/C and a lil giggle juice w/ 3.42's out back in a 12 bolt.

different trans and engine, not sure if there are fitment issues between blocks but I'm sure the 4l80e is larger than the 60e that i used. Been done lots of times. Its a g body and JohnB has a website that outlines the whole G body swap. Might help ya.
