Kevin,
I really like the car and the color. Good Job. I don't know why yours is so high and mine ended up so low. I bought the car with no engine or trans and I can only assume my car has the original springs. I started with a SSBC drum to disc kit that included 2" dropped spindles assuming that my car would be too high. By the time I got my LQ4 running, I couldn't drive it because it was so low. I ended up having to buy stock height SSBC spindles. Very expensive kit in the end.
You either need softer/shorter springs or you can go dropped spindles. Dropped spindles will lower without changing steering geometry like cutting springs will do. I don't know if your front brakes are stock or not, but if by chance you have SSBC disc brakes up front, I have the 2" dropped spindles if you are at all interested.

Looks good Kevin,
I finally got my ride height correct this weekend. I ended up buying QA1 adjustable coil overs, the economy kit. I like the adjustability, but is it a bitch to turn. the kit doesn't even come with a wrench, i had to make my own.
I went with a Lokar pedal and cable to run my LS1 throttle body.
