I had an arm with 2 holes in it , not from a kit. I thought of drilling a new hole but all the locations click in perfect except 1 st which is missing by a hair, I think if i file a little off the shifter for a little more room it will be o k . I dont think there is anything specific for a 4l80, everyone just advertises for a 4 speed auto and it probably all comes from the same place. JOHN

Is this the kit you got? What's the bracking on the left for with the rectangular angled hole for? Do you need to trim the shifter or the detent?

I didnt buy a kit I bought a complete shifter , I think I will file the detent. that bracket looks like the shifter arm , different than mine- that looks adjustable , mine has 2 different holes.. JOHN

Boy I am considering doing away with my original A/C under hood evaporator box and your setup looks sweet. I really dig the bulkhead connector it really cleans things up. I worry about how well a aftermarket setup will work though. I was going to adapt my factory setup with a POA eliminator kit. What setup are you using and would you buy it again if you had it to do over?

Does that run off of the factory controls or do you have to use aftermarket(supplied) ones?

you use fatory controls you just have to put a switch in and replace cables that also come with it. nothing to it if you can use a screew driver and read instuctions you can do it. just make sure to set travel on cables before you put it in the car it will make your life easier.
