Looking for (97-04)C5 Corvette Accessory Drive Parts
Does anyone know of a good source for wrecked Corvette C5(97-04) parts? I am installing a reworked LQ4 into my 65 Chevelle SS and need all the accessory drive parts(harmonic balancer/crank pulley, power steering brackets, alternator brackets, idler, tensioner etc)to clear my stock steering box.I can get new for around $400-450 wholesale from my local Chevy dealer(without power steering pump,AC parts and alternator),but would like to see if I can find used. Thanks in advance for any help.

Vette Accessories
Keep looking, you'll find them. I went to all the vette shops in town, on saturday mornings, when everyones a bit more relaxed & found them, lol. Lots of collision vettes out there for parts at these places. E-bay has them now & again as well. Good luck with your project.

Spent a good part of the day today on the phone with Corvette salvage yards and had no luck.I did learn that Professional Products is making a harmonic balancer for the C5 Corvettes,$77 my cost, under part #PP80033.Looks like I will be using this balancer, rebuilt power steering pump and alternator and all new bracket$$ from my GM dealer. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the input on the Professional Products balancer.I will look new/used OE.
Now that you mention it, I did have problems a few years ago with a Professional Products Crosswind Intake manifold. I installed it on a small block Chevy with Vortec heads and the left rear water passage leaked coolant without even starting the engine. Not to mention the manifold hit the valve cover forcing me to double gasket the left valve cover.I returned it to EPW and got a Edelbrock Air Gap.Problems solved.
What does this mean?

I would keep checking the parts for sale forum on ls1tech. Then go to http://www.corvetteforum.com/ then to http://www.car-part.com/
I found everything a while back except the alternator/ps bracket and the alternator. I got the bracket at the dealer and the alternator at a local parts store.
Good luck.

Tried car-part.com yesterday.I got 1 Corvette salvage yard that had brackets, pump alternator. He was asking $150 for balancer, which I can buy new from GM for $131.His power steering pump was $125 I can buy a rebuilt pump for $85 and put a new pulley on for $17.
Corvetteforum does not have a search feature. So 5-6 pages in I realized all Corvette owners do is buy and sell wheels to one another.
I think I'll buy a balancer used off this site or off EBay,then buy all the brackets from my local GM dealer and add rebuilt water pump,ps pump and alternator.
Thanks for the help/input.
