Well my swap will be going ahead somewhat as planned this spring. I'm kinda bummed but I will be having a shop help me with the swap as I've had surgury and will be having more in the next few months so I won't be capable of doing all the work myself. Needless to say there will be a 280Z running around with an '00 LS1 with 224/224 cam, LS6 intake and 1 3/4 headers by the end of the spring. I will be getting step by step pics done and put on a CD during the swap for documentation purposes which will be a cool bonus. I'll grab a digital picture frame and can have the pics playing at shows and whatnot. Just wanted to say thanks for all the info and I've searched and searched and searched on this site and there is a wealth of information that I've collected and used to make my purchase decisions and recieved guidance.
I will definately post up when I get things rolling but just wanted to say thanks in advance.

Good luck with your build and your surgery.I think this swap makes one of the best packeges there is.I don't know where you are located but if close enough you should check out the south east z meet in Reynolds Ga. on 3/16/08.Pretty good meet for z car fans.

I love my 3.2 liter diesel block crank stroker I built for my z Now that I have a ls1 powered 240sx. hmm I love that fuel injected feeling when you can just get in start it and drive Lets see some photos when your done. I know i have seen some real nice ones on you tube. I let my friend that has a 2.8 l-series and su's in his 240z drive my ls1 car. He nearly **** his pants and couldn't stop smiling and laughing as he raced down the county roads lol. All he could think about is how much fast it would be in a 2400 lb z. My s13 only weight in at 2650. good luck.
