My LS1 Miata build

is all the tubing in the kit as thick as the diff mount??
the new version of the kit looks really good! cant wait to see the new exhaust on yours and the report on how it drives when pushed a little harder!
Chris.

Alright, the exhaust is DONE! Buster knocked it out in one day (dropped the car off at 9:30am and he was done at 5:30pm!). This time I made sure to tell him I wanted the entire exhaust above any hard point on the car so that the exhaust is not the lowest point. He did a great job and I am very happy with it. He has an awesome bender that I love cause it makes for a nearly weld-less exhaust. Many pictures are on my site.
Also, the P/N for my magnaflow muffler is 12568 (SS non-polished) or 14568 (SS polished). see http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ainall&id=7191

I drove 12 hours from Georgia to Michigan thursday in the Miata with all my stuff for the summer (well all that would fit..) along with my HF tire trailer. I will be working for GM up here this summer. They have parking for GM cars close to the buildings but non-GM cars have to park far away. My boss said I could park half-way between...haha.
So the car ran great and had no issues driving up. I had something around 150lbs in the car and about 300+ lbs for the trailer (4 wheels/tires, jack stands, suitcase, ac compressor, spare, trailer itself) and plus the 150lb I weigh. I was getting around 24mpg cruising at 80-85. I think there is some MAF calibration that could be done to compensate for my free flowing intake which would help with both performance and mpg. I'm asking around at work for suggestions.

I am thinking of doing this myself but the price on the car is a little steep $3900. Its a 1992 MX-5 with a 116,000 miles on it. What's the biggest tire you can put on the rear of this car? I have seen wide body kits for this kit. There's a health motor and tranny waiting for this car.

949racing.com makes a 15X9 and with a little pulling and rolling you can fit a 275-45-15 on the back. Problem is the choices are limited. There are widebody kits available but it just depends on how much you want to pay.

Won't messing w/ the MAF table only incorrectly display the airflow? MAF only measures. Changing the table will falsely provide airflow information to the PCM. Although, @ low (mileage saving) RPM's, it probably wouldn't hurt anything. You're close enough to come to the Super SUMMIT in Talmadge, Ohio on Saturday. It's a HUGE car show. I will be there in the LS6 Miata & have tuning software if you want to tweak a few things.

Sorry, I haven't been on the forums recently and they didnt send me a email informing me of replies.
Yes and no. My assumption was that the MAF table was off so I would basically be correcting it to account for the different flow vs. frequency curve my custom intake has. The MAF output goes to the PCM which plots it on a graph and determines flow from the graph, if that graph doesn't represent your intake, it will miscalculate the air flow. It wouldn't be WAY off but a little with different intakes. Sorry I missed the show.
I don't but some do. Racing Concepts is coming up with a AC option on the kits. I might put it on once they come out with the custom hard lines. They will be using the stock miata condensor, lsx compressor and custom lines.
