Figured I would start a build thread over here. Just about have it running and it has been a project of mine for the past couple years. Started out just fun street car and snowballed from there. Typical story Im sure. Anyway future plans for the car are to get enjoy it N/A this year then hopefully next winter Ill have the parts I need to start the single S400 turbo setup. Will probably upgrade the pistons and rods at that time while I build up a more serious motor for it. So far here are the specs.....

Hmmm... I liked it until I saw the M/Ts & the tubs - and then I LOVED it! Only big thing I'd change would be to go w/ EFI instead of a carb, but that's me. (Looked like maybe the rear wheels might be just a tiny bit too far forward in the wheel wells, but I could be wrong too.)
Big props on the project, you've done a lot of work, & it looks like you're trying to do it right. Should be a helluva lot of fun this summer!!

Yeah Im considering EFI when I got turbo but its not set in stone yet. As far as the back wheels they are foward in the wheel openings but if you notice the pic of the car when I got it, it was the same way then also. Datsun engineered it that way and Im kind of stuck with it since I left the original outter wheel wells in it and just mated the inner wheel tubs to them. Long story short, looks odd but they are centered in the tubs.
Thanks for the feedback!

Finally got her done and took her out last night for some cruising. Almost 100 miles on the speedo and she did great! Went to a meet up spot for some locals and met up with some buddies. Snapped a few pics so here they are....

Yup 2 years in the making finally paid off. First night out I had some middle eatern guys stop at the parking lot my buddies and I were hanging out at and asked me how much for the car. I was messing around and told them I already turned down a offer for $25k and they told me to figure out what it would take and they would get it that night! It hurt but I told them it wasnt for sale and they got back into their top of the line Jaguar and took off after giving some compliments.
