I saw you run today and my dad and I were placing bets on how fast it would run. Once we got to the hotel we turned on the tv and what do we see, your car on the news. Great job on the car!

You have a good eye my friend! I kinda hoped no one would catch the green wall thing, I thought I was the only one that realized they were in fact green (aside from cousin Eddie saying "like those greenwalls") you have to look real hard to notice them! Until you posted this no one said anything! I'll make them green later, just ran out of time! And for those who are curious, the Truckster ran a 14.9 @ 94 mph! I'd say that's respectable land yacht with a stock 5.3. sorry the pic isn't real good, was taken with a camera phone.

Yeah, I cut the lower 6 inches or so from another wagon and welded it to the bottom of the window opening. Then made the c-pillar mostly out of sheet metal. The windows are 1/8 tempered glass made from a pattern I made. Other people that have made these have just put sheetmetal over the existing window, which I guess would work until the window gets broken then your screwed, you would have to cut the quarter panel out, not something I wanted to have to do on a completed, painted car!

You can't get through tech in Kansas with luggage on the roof either, or with a dog leash hanging off the rear bumper for that matter!!! I had to take it down and put in the back of the car. And Henry, yeah, that's 2.362 60' time, it dosen't hook up at all, the first run was 2.927 spinning like crazy! I'll be in Belton this month for sure, maybe I'll see you there?
