Question LSX Conversion in 73-77 GM A Body

Has anyone done a conversion in a 73-77 A body? I know I've seen a lot done in the older A bodies but I don't recall seeing anything for 73-77.

I have a 77 442 that I will start resto work on and I'm thinking of pulling my fresh rebuilt motor and puting an LSx motor in the car. I would like to see someone else that has done it. I've been looking and I don't see that it would really be that hard

I started a simialr thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps/863138-73-77-bodies.html

I'm still in the parts gathering stage of my 73 Buick Century swap.
I have a new L92 and a T56. My hope is to run the f-body pan, clutch hydraulics and truck accesories.

I also purchased the Eedelbrock 68-72 A-body swap headers. Edelbrock seems to think they will work for us forgotten 73-77 a-bodies also (they also fit 2nd gen f-bodies).

I found a company who offers C5 brake conversion for our cars (Velocity Engineering).

I also have Global West front and rear control arms.

I purchased a set of drop spindles for 2nd gen f-bodies (I'm 99% sure they will work).

There is also a company (AGM Industries) who offer stock type AC delete covers that keep the heater/blower functions.

Other than that aftermarket support is kinda thin.

Any one else?

I will get some pictures of the car soon. It's very rough but I hope I can get it looking good again. I know I've spoken with a few body shops around the area and a few all have said I should scrap the car and find another to start with but this car has sentimental value. My mother ordered the car from a local dealer back in 77 and it was my first car.

I've seen the C5 kit for our cars, I think I saw it on BMR's website

My Buick was my 1st car also. Keep it! Fix it!
Or you'll kick yourself later!

Don't know about the BMR C5 kit, but the service from Engineered Velocity is outstanding!

I found this site the other day and thought it might interest you. I now it's for Oldsmobiles but it's still 73-77 A Body related. I thought this thread would really be of interest for sure

Someday my 442 will be in this kind of shape

I can't believe he did it on stock 15x7s.

I thought I posted the link in your thread but I guess not.. How did you get the stock 10 spokes to fit on your car? I assume you used an adapter to fix the offset
