C5R 427 91 Miata build up
That's good to know. It means that there may be few more options (255's) for my wheels. A year ago, found a 255 that would have fit in the wheel well, but, didn't do it 'cuz of the wheel to tire width speciification. Your set up confirms that there is a little room in the specs to play around with safely. Thanks for the information........Now, if I can just find that tire again.
Come to think of it, I think it was a 40 & that may not be enough side wall to get away with it......hmmmmm, will have to ask the guy @ the tire mounting shop.
Anybody who knows me can tell you that. Just ask Nemss. I am like a garage or should I say performance store to some of the locals because I change my mine to much and keep buying parts and not use them. So they come to me and purchase what they need. That's the reason why I have the LS3, C5R, 383 parts, even a carb setup for L92 with msd box and I just sold a 408 long block with ported L92 heads plus other parts.

this boy stocks some lsx **** and then some,
prochargers bnib, nos bottles nib, c5r heads, beck sheetmetal intakes, etc.
ive bought stuff from him, he knows his lsx motors
hes got enuff paper for any of the builds hes mentioned
good luck with your build
ps i have a FAST 90mm TB for cheep if u need one
pm me

To finish this statement, the tire was a 255 for my 17"x8" road course wheels; not my 16's. They're a 40 profile, which means a 25" OD. Minimum recommended wheel is 8.5". Am gonna try 'em & see.
