I'm not 100% positive on this, but I always thought the ABS and Airbags are both controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM), not the Engine Control Module (ECM or PCM). The BCM should not effect the engine swap in any way as it's a standalone circuit. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd like to know for sure on this.

I dont have a BCM, the Modules that control the Air Bags are under the Dash in my car to my knowledge.

Ok question about the rack and pinion will one out of a 98 and up v6 camaro or bird work? Here at our local pick a part there are a few v6 cars no v-8's. gathering parts for a future ls swap
