I got two of the bolt holes to line up on the alt. and p/s bracket and that held pretty steady but I am also going to make something else to stiffin it up even more. I could take some pics but of what?

Were you able to keep the stock hood??

With the truck pan and front acc. I was unable to keep the factory hood. This is a picture of the plates that I made.

So you think with an F-body oil pan and accessories the motor could have sat lower just enough to clear the hood??

It would be very close. The alt. sticks up pretty high with the truck stuff and thats what hits and now with the supercharger it hits also.

Yea, carb is easy way out...Ive been looking at aftermarket EFI setups like the one from MSD or Painless Wiring but they are expensive!!
Another option for EFI is use the factory stuff (only helps if you have acess to a donor car) or go with a BigStuff 3 or FAST XFI.....

Im trying to get my hands on this LS6 engine (longblock)out of an 01 Z06 thats for sale here locally...

Are you going to try and reuse the stock instrument cluster or are you going with a custom gauges setup??

I dont know what I will do for all the guages actually lol. Yours will run good with that motor and get good fuel mileage too.

What headers did you use? I have a 94 gt that i have been thinking about doing the conversion on. Let me know.
