To use long tubes, Ive seen on here (LS1Tech), about guys using the 1 3/4 BBK Long tubes for a 351W swap...they cut the header flanges on and weld up the LS1 header flanges...supposed to fit like a glove!

^^ I might go this route too, if I can confirm that it fits in a Mustang properly and has the proper clearance (around the steering shaft)....

I have also heard this. What kind of power increases are seen with headers over manifolds?

No BOV? Might look into one before you hurt the blower. Looks awsome.

No I do not have one. What will it do to it to hurt it?

When you let out of the gas and your carb closes the pressure track back to the blower and the turbine fins flex. Eventually they can break and they can cause the shaft to get too much play in it.

In my turbo buick they came with out one stock. It will cause the problems I listed but seeing that a factory car came with out one they seem to say that it's not a huge issue. I'd get one when you can afford it but I wouldn't be too paranoid. Easing out of the throttle will probably do basically the same effect.

I'm sure there are plenty hanging around on ebay. You'll be able to find a good deal.

Since you're going to be blown you'll pick up more than a NA motor. Depending on the flow upwards of 30hp. Maybe more, maybe less.
