Follow caltracs suggestions on where to set the bars and shoot for around 4 degrees of negative pinion angle and I am sure you will be happy. Just an idea for you if you wanted a cheaper alternative to the QA1's is to run a factory 4cyl. coil spring. They will be taller than the drops and the coils are thinner than the 4.3 trucks so it will give even more stored energy. Also are you running a dropped shock in the rear?

I used the 08 hummer H3 pan, fits awsome and cleared with out notching the crossmember but was to close for my comfort so i cut about 3/4 inch off. It has plenty of room to twist now with no issues and, the bottom of the pan is flush with the crossmember.

Got the caltracs on and run for the first time with them this weekend. I got it down to a 1.76 60ft 8.05 1/8th 84mph, still spinning but no more wheel hop. Now I just have to tune it in to get the spinning problem out. Going to testntune this thursday so should get some 1/4 times soon.

The Cal Tracs are awesome, I had some serious wheel hop issues with my truck. They are worth their weight in gold!

they are vette accesories, they give you the best clearance over other ones that don't sit as tight to the block.

I got it hookin up good now with no added weight to the back, it turned out it was the radials i was running. I swaped them out for a set of 28/10.5/15 mt slicks and it hooked first time out.

you only need enough spring in the *** end to hold the vehicle up thats how you will get it to hook up but i agree you will need Caltracs or something to eat up the excess energy the pinion gives out
