Haven't been on here in a LOOONG time. Hope this bad boy is driving in the next couple weeks. Had to move the engine back, re-do the steering, making new headers right now, then working on the cooling system, some chassis adjustments, etc.
I'll get pics asap.

Moving the motor fix the steering arm issues? I got motivated 3 weeks ago and finished patching all of the floor of the 610. going to start on the cage this sunday and then the mini tub. Got my 9" all set except brakes and got the tires mounted up. Onward and upward! like to see the new motor position.

Unfortunately, it's been far too long sinve i've updated this.
As of right now, the car is nothing more than a roller.
I was pretty disappointed with how the chassis turned out from the fabricator. There were issues with the steering setup, front suspension, clearances with the roll cage, cooling, etc.
I was investigating the use of an inverted porsche 930 transmission and putting the LS behind the rear seats, but it doesn't look like I'll have enough room as the LS is just too long. Barring that, I'm likely going to run a c5 or c6 torque tube setup which would allow a MUCH smaller transmission tunnel and give me more room for pedals AND seats.
I'll post up again once i get the project rolling. While I'm waiting on my chassis to be designed in SolidWorks, i'm going to be finishing my ls3 porsche.
