I think this looks absolutely terrible. The stock low deck looks clean but that one looks like a literal wing. I mean its all about what what the owner likes or whatever but YUCK

I think the only thing that looks a little off with that is that it is angled up a little bit. Its just a photoshop though and Im sure it will get fixed in the prototype.

In the words of Super Dave "Don't try this at home kids, I'm a professional"

Getting this in and our of the car was fun and awkward.

So the stage is set now.
The vert and the stock wing are now available for the new one to be built. It is just a matter of time now.

Some kind of duck tail like on the heritage trans am prototype could look good, just maybe a bit more like the SS spoiler. I didn't care for how it looked where it extended onto the quarter panels. Could be tough to pull off something like that though.

Found some pics of what i was talking about, i think something like this could look good on a vert. Just depends on how it looks from the side.

I also added some misc pics that i've gathered over the years that might give you some inspiration. I had a similar idea in mind at one point. I was considering just settling for the stick on spoiler (black bird with the gawdy gfx) but i always end up with coupes!

Now that formula with that wing if it was all one piece would definetly flow better in a convertible, and would look awesome!

Well we will see how it comes out.

I think that it might look good with the top up (though it may not flow as gracefully as teh coupes lines) but the top down look may be awkward. either way I will let all of you be the judge when it is ready.

Change of plans. Apparently the Mfg. I took it to either has no vision, I don't know but they said that the trunk could get damaged and therefore they did not want to take the chance. So I am picking up the car and I have someone else who works with fiberglass and does exceptional work coming to look at it and we will discuss the details.

Will let you know.

Not to worry I am like a dog with a bone when i get an idea.

Eh I dont like how it is solid the whole way through. If Im gonna buy a new wing/lid, I would want it to be the raised wing like on the coupes.
