Default rear window seal

today i finally get my car home from being at shop for several months. A friend pointed out that my rear window wasnt attached to the top. i looked and what i found is the black stripe wasnt attached and was what seems to be peeling away. almost seems like a doublesided tape that attached glass to cloth top.

how can i fix this?

It happens to all F-body verts eventually. You can either have the entire top replaced or use something like Gorilla Glue to reattach the window to the top fabric. There are a few threads here that detail the DIY approach.

a window guy should have the correct glue i was thinking? my top is fairly good with only having 44k on the car. seems well kept just something happend to the rear seal. i have the glass entirely removed from top for now. Top is off car awaiting for the transformation
