I go with the manual route not by choice, the pump is giving me trouble, I'm pretty sure it's just because there is no hydrolic fluid in it hehe. But I just disengaged the motor and do it by hand, it literally takes like 5-10 seconds to get it up or down. The only pain in the bee-hind is when it's really hot outside because the handles get really hot and ....burny

^^ I got more info from Bob who has a mini-tubbed trans am vert. He said the hydraulics will NOT clear the mini-tubs

Update: finally got around to removing my pump, lines and cylinders. Manual operation is easy and no regrets.
