Rear glass is leaking Some friends of mine bought a 2002 T/A vert a few months ago. They are currently having a problem with the glass coming loose from the top. The top is still in great shape. What is the best thin to use to re-seal the window without looking out of place?
If you do a search in this forum, you'll see several alternatives. It seems that urethane sealant and construction adhesive has worked for people. I'd used black silicone on the lower end, but that wouldn't work when the top of the window worked loose. I ended up installing a new window in what's called the window curtain (the window and the fabric it's connected to - separate from the rest of the top material). Good luck.

I vouch for the curtain replacement as well. Many places offer a lifetime warantee on them as well. 200 dollars later and you're set for the life of the car, with a top that looks like new.

got mine at napa for $15
used acetone to clean the glass and the back side of the top which is smooth......
undid the top and lowered 4inches to release the pressure on the top........
used a rolled rag at each end to keep them seperate until i was done applying.......
braced the back side of the glass with a couple boxes and a towel to keep pressure on the glass.....
dryed overnight and it worked great.

I took my window curtain out and it was separated at top and bottom.
I used the 3M fast set urethane and clamped it on a large table to set for a couple of days.I also bought an air staple gun made for upholstery work,made it sooo much easier.
Mines held fine for over a year now(fingers crossed.)
I should mention that PO had used super glue to try and patch it. I had to scrape the spots of glue off as its like trying to glue thin glass.
