I can go in on the cage too....definitely stiffens the car up. I got the weld in roll bar from wolfe racecraft. Fit great in the car and I have room because I didn't have the harness bar welded in the main hoop so I can go a little further back with my seat...I still have the harness bar to put in later if I ever want to. I also notched my top cover to fit around the roll bar.

That is my best picture to show the cover notched around the roll bar...it had to be notched so half the bar could go into the cover.

^^^ Looks bad *** man!

I am 6'4 260 and I also have the Wolfe roll bar with the crossbar and with the seat adjusted as low and back as possible my knees are not touching the dash but are very close.
Just to let anyone know who is a bigger guy that it is still very comfortable with one of these roll bars in the car.

That looks awesome man. What seats are you using and do you use the stock seat belts? I really want to put a harness in mine if I do the cage, but if I can't use the crossbar I guess that's not an option.

I use stock seat belts and stock 1995 two tone carpet seats. I'm just about 6' tall and if I wanted to I could put the crossbar in and attach a harness to it without adjusting my seat forward. I can try to get a picture to show the room from the back of my seat to where the crossbar would be when I get some time.

Boy, this thread took a drastic turn. From warm weather to roll bars. Lol

By the way, a vert looks killer with a cage!

Speaking of warm weather, this year has been a very mild winter here in the Carolina's. Go figure, this winter the car is back in mod mode.

This winter is great. I'm loving it. My car goes in next week for a heads and cam swap. I'm definitely looking for a cage as soon as I get my racing seats.

Yes I love my roll bar even with it being just a 4 point bar. Weather here in central Illinois has been very mild too....hit 55 today again. I plan on taking the car out next weekend too as we are scheduled to hit 55 again on saturday. Hell I may even have it out during the week as it is supposed to be in the high 30s and mid 40s.

This time of year is actually when my wife drives her 95. Drop down, heat on full blast, cruising to work at 75.

The car gets parked during the summer.
