removing z28 wing and wiring for SS spoiler

The plug is on the harness that runs from the spoiler into the trunk lid. You should be able to pull the harness out just enough to see the connector and unplug it from the top side of the trunk, not underneath. Mine was stuck in there, but with a little force it came out.

Sorry gotta ask but why remove the whole wiring harness that goes up to the spoiler? or am I not understanding the question... sorry if thats the case lol.
I popped out the rubber grommet under the drivers side of the trunk and the plug was right there, unplugged my Z28 spoiler and plugged in my ss spoiler and have not had any problems.

I think 02DropTopZ explained the problem I maybe having.
the plug just maybe stuck.
I didn't want to pull on the spoiler itself too hard and possibly rip the wires out.
It was also 11* here yesterday lol. I just wanted to get it done but got stuck at this point.
Basically i wasn't able to lift the spoiler because wires were still attached.
I 'll give it a try tomorrow after work.
