My wife made us a picnic lunch to enjoy on the Blue Ridge Pkwy today. It's nice to live just 45 minutes away. If you ever plan on taking a road trip to this part of the country, make the effort to bring your 'vert. So many drives to enjoy from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to the Tail of the Dragon.
Here are a few photos of our T/A 'vert at different pullouts. Very cool at the 5000' - 6000' elevations. Click on photos a few times to enlarge if you like.

Clean looking 'vert you have there. I definitely need to make a trip that way in my 'vert considering I live only a few hours away (Charlotte). So far the past few visit have always been in the minivan.

By the way, the Blue Ridge Pkwy is closed north of Asheville to Mt Mitchell. It may be awhile as part of the road gave way after all the rain. The really scenic part south of Asheville to Mt Pisgah and all the way to the Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park is open.
