Yeah, I didn't think I'd be getting a third convertible but it's hard not to when you live in this part of the country. Topless driving on the Blue Ridge Pkwy or through the Great Smoky Mountain national park is tough to beat. Never mind the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, and the list goes on. Here we are in 35 degree weather unloading and inspecting after a long transport from Cape Cod in MA. My wife was thinking ahead and took photos that I'm sure I will enjoy as the years go by. Only 5,100 miles on this C6. Into the garage it goes to get a good detail and a wait for warmer weather. I hope my Trans Am doesn't get jealous.

The car looks great Dave!
Glad to see that you finally got it home. Too bad it's still winter and all that fun cruising will have to wait, but at least you get to look at it in the garage - which is all I can do in my region as well.

Deeply appreciate that. Yes, it's detailing season when all you can do is look at it in the garage. We do get our nice days here but this winter has been a bear so far. Lots of salt on the road too.

Thanks! This is actually my second orange car. I owned this '75 Bricklin back in the late 1980's and early 1990's when I lived in FL. I wasn't sure if I would ever get another orange car even though I have really enjoyed seeing the SOM Trans Ams. Very tempting.

Congrats looks gorgeous......Atomic Orange is by far my favorite color ever in terms of cars. I am a huge orange fan with the newer vette dark sunset, the g8 ignition orange, as you stated sunset orange camaro and ws6s, and I actually have a brazen gto but nothing has that brighter color tone variance like atomic just so many beautiful photos depending on the lighting. Someday I will own an Atomic Z car. Be sure to get some nice pictures during the summer on different lighting and post them up and more than anything enjoy the car.

^^^ Thanks! The color was just a 3 year run from '07 - '09. Just like you said, I've really noticed the color changes. In the garage it looks like a copper penny. Outside is an array of colors. I recently took my first 'topless' photo in my neighbor's driveway. Not copper anymore, It's atomic

I love Bricklins! Not sure who has the worst story, the Bricklin or the Delorean, but none the less, a sad history for such a cool car.
You said you got it in Florida; was this the Bricklin that was in the Euro shop (for got the name of the shop) off Fed HyWy, just before the Dade county line (maybe right after it)? Looks just like it.

I agree about sad stories. The Canadian gov't lost millions with this car. We went to Saint John, New Brunswick back in the '90's to see if there was anything left of the old Bricklin plant but we couldn't find a thing. We asked many locals up there but we struck out. It was a fun car to own outside of the doors. We never switched to the air doors and always kept the hydraulic. Kinda dumb when you think back. We were just trying to keep it original.
