Anyway to adjust a convertible top?
I have tried everything and yet my top still leaks, I was wondering is their anyway to actually adjust the position of the top? I think if I was able to shift it towards the passenger side just a little it may stop the leak.
Thanks for the help.

I asked a local GM body shop about this(beings how Im fixing a wrecked 02 vert). They told me that they have done it on a sunfire but you couldnt adjust it much. I didnt go into details with them. The guy that fixed the frame has fixed numerous Fbodies including a few verts. He said that he has never done it. If it is leaking around the window seal then you can adjust the window. he told me that the Fbodies have a shitload of adjustment. He also said be prepared to spend about 2 DAYS a piece to get then right. I havent messed with the ones on the vert yet so I dont know first hand.

When I bought my vert it was ****-eyed just enough to rub the rubber seal on the rear passenger side off (over 4 years). I took it to a friend who owns an upholstry shop and he adjusted it in an afternoon and fixed the seal. No problems since.

Check that the little drains at the ends, are free-flowing.
That's where the weep through the front face is supposed
to go, leaving nothing to come in past the rearward lip and
rubber.
You might be able to screw in the little hooks and get some
more clamping force, perhaps help if the rubber has taken
a set from age. Or, get under the receiver plastic piece and
shim it down, ditto.

they caqn eb tweaked, just like any other convertible with "bows" Had mine tweaked like 3 or 4 times under warranty. The DS outside sail panel rubbed when putting it down, the whole roof shifter to the DS when retracting. They tweaked it and it didn't rub anymore. Now I need to adjust it again, as it is finally dripping a few drops on both sides at the window/top seal directly above the interior lock/handle.
