Default Need some suggestions...

I went down to the track for the first time with my new toy and ran a 13.7 with a crap launch and got booted i dont wanna deal with one run weekends and after a couple weeks they are gonna recognize me and i'm cuttoff.
Any info on your preference of roll cage for convertible ease of install, nhra legal and I'm big fatty 6' 260 so i dont want to play in a jungle gym every time i get in. do they make a low bar thats legal or just go with a swing out.?

BTW it hurts when you jump into buddys car forgetting he put a cage in it a week before, and nail 260 lbs on your tailbone, couldnt sit right for a week and a half <- thats what it felt like

I was at cecil dragway in maryland asked the tech guy if he was being serious because the car is stock other than a loudmouth catback and he showed me the nhra rulebook, something along the lines of "any convertible running faster than a 14.0 must have an approved 5pt. rollcage..." maybe I'll start running at atco.

Out here all you have to have is a helmet, until you go 12's.

Man, that sucks. I run 12.90's at my home track and they haven't said a word to me. It's an IHRA track and their rule says 13.49 and faster needs a roll bar not even a cage.
