She is still under warr. and mint. I want it done but just the thought of cutting a hole in her, dam gives me chills. I like doing my own work but I dont think I could do it my self. I would feel to guilty. Any way how did they cut the floor out? Im guessing they were very carefull. also how far from houston are they?

Im guessing they were very carefull. also how far from houston are they?Its really not a big deal, the floor pan is stamped for the holes already, the shifter cut is a no brainer as long as your semi careful and it doesn't have to be perfect the rubber shift boot covers a larger area, you'd only be able to tell if a line wasn't straight from under the car and then the tranny would be in the way.
It was an easy swap really... lot of work but easy. If the tranny in my 98 ever goes out then I'll have a hard decision to make. I like the "chill factor of the auto" The Z06 can be a bear to drive the vert is my "luxury car" But I DO like rowing through gears!
