Well the car weighs less than 3100lbs, not sure on the exact weight. I just got back from Houston but didnt have time to weigh it. Next time I go I will compile a new list and weigh the car for everyones reference. The rollcage is going in right now...i dont even know how much it weighs, lol.

holy ****....mine is 4000# raceweight with me being 200...4150 street. i remove my swaybar...boom box and rear seat for the track...and use skinnies/slicks

My raceweight with driver is probably about 3250, Bryan Pavlock of Pavlock Performance drives my car at the track since i weigh nearly 300lbs, lol. Gosh damn you should start tearing **** out. The sawzall and plasma cutter are your friends.

I wouldn't remove most of the stuff you did on a street car. Cable runs 9's at 4k lbs. Safety is more important than losing .1 at the track.

And i bet Cable has a ton of money to spend too! Whereas I dont. Safety is an issue with racing, that is the point of a rollcage, which I have, and a 5 point harness, helmet and firesuit. .1, lol, I lost half a second with weight reduction, no bull. Most of the weight removed was not safety related anyways. Besides my car isnt street driven, race tracks only.

i plan to use an aluminum front bar instead of factory one
no air bags
no door bars
k member
tubular A arms
tubular rear arms
all abs crap
all smog crap
will have relocated battery
might remove padding from carpet
probably remove the wiring for the abs and smog out of the harness along with anything else not needed

These are the #'s I removed from dustins car this week:

42-carpet
44-drivers seat
65-All a/c components under dash and hood
15-padding from firewall
5-padding under console
36-passenger seat
15-misc crap


Total was 205 lbs i know im forgetting something but I wrote it all down at the shop..
The cage was 68 lbs.

That is what the drivers seat actually weighed on the scale, stock powered leather seat.
