My convertible weight

My convertible weight Went and weighed the car this morning. I was expecting something like 3500lbs since I have taken 242lbs out of it and people claim they weigh over 3700lbs. Here it is with 1/2 a tank of gas, without gas it is 3296lbs and there is still about 100 more lbs to come out before I stop:

Tunnel brace is removed, too hot to remove ac in texas, lol, wheel well plastic just doesnt weigh enough for me to care right now, and havent thought about firewall insualtion?

Psyko- I checked your homepage to see if there were any pictures of the weight reduction. Didnt see any but ....

Coil packs and miscelaneous parts stacked on the trans-am decklid.
Barefoot.
Cradle supported with rim/jack combo.
Working under the car.
I would hate to see a valuable member of the LS1 group get injured or killed.

a t-top car weighs around 34-3500lbs and a hardtop car around 33-3400lbs. A vert weighs from 36-3700lbs. It all depends on options. My car weighs 3260 at the moment so I am a little bit lighter than a hardtop but me weighing in at 315lbs doesnt help me when I am running someone that weighs a buck fitty!
