Wolfe 6 point in vert

I just ordered a wolfe 6 point, notched with swing-outs on both sides for my 2002 SS convertible and i was just wondering if anyone has installed one in a convertible and could tell me how the fix went. Did you have to do any bending or cutting? Did it come ready to install? Any thing I may want to watch for during install?

I have an '02 Z28 vert and went so far as to price out the exact same cage ... pls update this thread as you go. Thanks!

Will let you know, but roll bar will not be ready for me to pick up for three to four weeks at wolfe. I talked with them about install and they said they couldn't get to it for months. They were backed up.

Probably more like 8 -10 weeks just to ship you the cage, they are really backed up. (took me that long)

I just had a bolt-in with swingouts done, by my friend... It was not easy but then I had sub frame connectors.

I'm wondering if Weld-in is just easier.
Depends on who you know...

I'm picking the roll cage up, not worried about shipping. The first time I talked to them they said 5 to 6 weeks, later that day they said maybe 3 weeks and it will be ready for me to pick up.

My Wolfe 4 point bolt in was extremely easy. Took me and a buddy bout an hour and a half. But then again, mine was only a 4 point, and was in a hardtop car. Took bout 5 weeks to get, everything fit extremly well, very nice product.
